anonymouscuban > So I've been working out pretty hard lately and really watching my diet. Another year and I will hit the big Four Oh... that's right, 40 years freakin old. I figure I better get in the best shape possible now while I still can. Want to enter the next decade with a strong base.

I think I'm looking pretty good. I'd still like to lean up just a tad more, see if I can get the six pack. Almost there, just a bit more work.

anonymouscuban > Day #57 - El Malecon and Castillo El Morro, Havana Cuba

My wife and I took a trip to Cuba. It was fascinating and very special since I was able to meet relatives I had only known through pictures and rare phone calls. I will be sharing some of the highlights through my Daily Photos in the days to come.

This shot is of the end of El Malecon, a road and seawall that stretches for 8km along the coast of Havana. At the end of El Malecon is the Castillo El Morro (Fort Morro). Its construction started in 1589 and finished in 1630 under the direction of Juan Bautista Antonelli, an Italian military engineer. It was the most important fort of the colonial times, not only from the strategic-military point of view, but also for its effectiveness as lighthouse and symbol of the city.
