Day #25 - Slice of Potato This is a shot I took of my 2 year old female pug "Potato". I entered this shot in the DSS 16 challenge, which I am currently one of the finalist. I tried to make this a little different than the average dog portrait. I converted it to B&W but added a warming filter. I also used the severe left crop to really emphasize Potato's stare, something she does often; sits outside of reach and just stares attentively at you. I wanted this to be a fun picture and I really like the way this shot turned out. I plan on having it printed and matted to hang in my home. BTW, we have four dogs. That's right four! Three pugs and an 80 lb female yellow lab.
